General Information
Description: Explain the concept of collaboration, define knowledge , describe how knowledge sharing/transfer relies on collaboration and its importance, list and explain three ways organizations can use the physical environment to support communities of practice and knowledge.
Abstract: Most of us understand the concept of collaboration. This article discusses how collaboration is vital to knowledge sharing and how many view it to be even more important for an organization to solve problems and realize success in the future. Architects and designers alike have an important role in assisting organizations with creating a space designed to ensure collaboration occurs and therefore realize the benefits it can bring.
