Description: Participants will learn of the issues facing those with physical, mental or sensory deficits. Discuss the demographics of the aging boomer population, residential considerations and options of AIP.
Abstract: This course is designed to cover basic AIP and ADA considerations in home and public spaces. It will address the sensitivities needed as a designer in this market, showing demographics of the market as well. Challenges and solutions will be illustrated. ADA fundamentals will also be covered.
